We’re celebrating 30 years of community, conservation, and beauty!

Did you know the Wildflower Center wasn’t always in Southwest Austin? In 1995, we moved from a small house on sixty acres in East Austin to this land, ready to create something lasting. From the start, we planted more than just gardens. We became a gathering place for our neighbors and visitors from across the country.

Since then, thousands of plants (and just as many memories) have taken root here. Generations of visitors have wandered our trails and discovered the beauty and resilience of native plants.

Now, as we celebrate 30 years in this special place, we’re inviting our community to help shape the next 30. Our 30-day fundraising challenge is all about the power of coming together.

  Give $30
Ask a few friends to do the same
Help kickstart the next 30 years of environmental stewardship

Every gift helps our gardens thrive. Join us: wildflower.org/donate (link in our bio!)

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., a team of horticulturists, arborists, and conservation experts from the Wildflower Center will be showing off the magic of planting native trees and talking about ways we can all support wildflower meadows and local ecosystems.

Saturday marks the launch of the 2025 Lady Bird Bourbon, with $5 from every bottle sold supporting our mission to preserve native plants!
